WELCOME
"Season of mists, and mellow fruitfulness.." as John Keats would have it. Autumn is upon us and with it a major change in the bird world. Many of our colourful summer breeders are on their way south to escape our colder winters. But others that moved to the far north to breed will move south again as temperatures drop there and winter storms make feeding difficult. In our valley they can find food and shelter until the warmer weather returns in spring. Let's welcome them back!
