Don't you love it when the daylight hours are longer and warmer, and the bird world 'wakes up'? Spring means new arrivals each week, always exciting to document. As these species come here to breed or pass through northbound, some of the birds we saw during our winter will leave for the north too and we won't see them until the fall. Still others remain for the whole year. Aren't we lucky to live where bird life is abundant and varied? Go out and see what you can find!
