WELCOME
Days cool and are shorter, leaves fall, insects die - it's time for many of our summer birds to leave for warmer climes. But many other birds stay with us through fall and winter, and some come especially from the far north or higher elevations to spend the cooler months in our valley. Let's look at some of them.
